Slice of Cake - May 2018

Feeling better now the sun is shining. So writing this while it’s still out!

Despite all the bad press in retail Cake & Catwalk doing OK! Hopefully it’s all the good choices we have made in buying the right stock at the right price. Or perhaps it’s the customer service and our happy relaxed style.

My favourite brand at the moment is still ‘A Postcard from Brighton’. Super soft fabrics for luxury lounging about at home and great for the understated casual outfit for a drink down on the waterfront.

Linen dresses arriving as I type and lots of new bits and pieces for the summer coming in all through June and July.

I have done a couple of fashion shows recently and have been mobbed afterwards as the ladies have loved the outfits on the catwalk. And talking of fashion shows we have two in June. The Library one I mentioned last month has been postponed until the autumn. The lovely ladies are super busy and have overstretched themselves.

SALE As you know I do not normally do sales but I have a few gems to shift before the summer season really kicks off and am having a SALE for one week only. This will include some ICHI, Moutaki, Cubic and Weiss clothing plus Envy Jewellery and SACS Leather Bags. Starts on Saturday 19th May. Put it in your diary so you don’t miss out on a genuine bargain.
