August Slice of Cake

Hello Cake Lovers

ALL CHANGE

It’s getting exciting. I am looking forward to getting all the new stock. A Postcard from Brighton has already arrived and now available online at Cake & Catwalk along with Envy and Big Metal jewellery. A very glamorous selection of trousers from Stehman and Italian Knitwear. Sophyline from France is on its way.

I have found some new labels including Soya Concept from Denmark, plus a couple of new jewellery brands with some big statement rings. Still no bags. I just cannot find any I like.

Loads of warm scarves and gloves. Keep an eye on Facebook and Instagram for daily posts.

I am involved in the WI Centenary Fair being held at Trinity Park on Tuesday 3rd September. 11am to 8pm. It’s the celebration of 100 years of Suffolk East Federation of the WI. It’s a full on day and evening with exhibitions, competitions, demonstrations and fashion shows. WI members get in free all others £3 in advance (tickets available from Cake & Catwalk. Or £5 on the gate. Myself, boutique 24 from Halesworth and Impulse from Framlingham are on the Catwalk. It should be a great day. https://sefwi.org.uk/news/163/centenary-fair

I have added a new feature on the website introducing some of the artisans that I feature in the shop. Shelley had completely changed all the stock in her cabinet so there is lots of new pieces. Silver Jewellery from Alicat, Lila has some beautiful new pieces. Beautiful linen headbands from Ligita, Recycled rubber earrings from Moura, Hats and facinators from Anne Reeder Milanery and Carlos of GG Designs.
